I don’t wear sweaters much, but some of our sweaters are prone to pills, no matter how I wash them it just happens. When Lilly Brush decided to work with me, I was super excited to do the review.
When my Lilly Brush arrived I started my review almost immediately, it was cool for a couple of days and my favorite sweater was full of pills and I wanted to wear it out that evening. I got to work with the brush and was amazed at how easily it removed the pills from my sweater. It took me a good 5 mins to get it looking perfect, and I was a happy woman later that evening when I got to wear it out.
I have a confession to make, I was close to making the decision that my favorite sweater had seen it’s better days. But Lilly Brush saved it and I am sure I’ll get at least one more winter out of it.
Little more information on the Lilly Brush:
- Lilly Brush was designed to remove pills off all natural knits (cashmere, cotton, angora, wool, hemp, etc). Results vary on synthetic/nylon knits (the strands are too strong and need to be removed with a shaver or razor)
- The best way to remove pet hair with Lilly Brush is to rub Lilly Brush firmly back and forth on the desired surface. This will cause the hair to collect and ball on the end of the bristles. Give it a try on upholstery and you will be amazed. You can just peal the hair right off the face of the brush.
- To clean your Lilly Brush rinse with light soap and water and tap briskly to remove extra fuzz and hair
